This page explains what GuessMyAge collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the free age guesser runs entirely in your browser, so we never receive your photo.
What we collect
Photos you use with the on-device age guesser are processed only in your browser and are never sent to us. If you ask for a sharper (cloud) guess, your browser sends only a crop of the face to our server; it is processed in memory to make the guess and deleted right after, and it is never stored or used to identify anyone. The face score and face symmetry tools measure your face in your browser and send nothing. If you ask for optional AI feedback on the face score page or buy a face analysis report, a crop of the face (for the report, of the head) is sent through our server to AI models to write the feedback and, for the report, to draw hairstyle previews on it; we do not store the crop, and we only use model providers that do not store prompts or train on them. We do not keep any facial or biometric data. We collect basic technical data that every website receives (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) and anonymous usage events (such as "a guess was made"). If you create an account or buy credits for paid features, we also keep your email address, your purchases and the files you choose to upload for those features. Photos you upload for AI aging are deleted automatically within two days; the aged photos stay in your account until you ask us to delete them; face analysis reports and their hairstyle previews are kept privately in your account for 30 days and then deleted automatically; and we never use your photos to train models.
Who processes it
Our site and the cloud age model run on Cloudflare. Optional AI face feedback, the face analysis report and the AI aging feature are processed by OpenRouter, Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude). If you use paid features, payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe or PayPal), sign-in by Google or email, and generation by our AI model provider. These providers only process data to provide their part of the service. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
On-device photos are never stored by us. Files uploaded for paid features are deleted within 2 days, and results are kept until you delete them or your account. Account and payment records are kept as long as your account exists and as required by tax law.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember how you found us. We use Google Analytics to count visits and guesses; outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it sets its own analytics cookies, and inside those regions it runs without cookies. We never use advertising cookies or personalized ads.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by email. You must be at least 13 years old to use this site.
